Di Christian, Artsplan Trainer
Di has a background in Performing Arts, having worked as an actress and director in mainstream and community theatre. She is currently Artistic Director of Wicked Fish Theatre Company, an ensemble company of performers who have Learning Difficulties. Their work is devised and has toured to the UK and Europe. She is also Director of Soup Stone Projects, an arts-based training consultancy, working with organisations to develop inclusive practice and accessible training programmes.
She has worked with a range of partners to create theatre-based workshops and performances which have explored a variety of issues, from community policing to the modernisation of day care services!
As a freelance trainer and college lecturer, Di has taught a range of performance skills, as well as Disability Equality, anti-oppressive practice, workshop development and delivery, project management and personal development.
